Posted 02 Nov, 2025 07:41 PM by Stephen

  • Location is Wheeler.
  • Arrive by 9:30am.
  • Material is 1 Corinthians 1-13.
  • Review General Info, particularly:
  • Register your team(s) after you sign up/log in.
  • Register any memory verse awards (cookies!):
  • For those arriving Friday evening, Wheeler will be hosting a gathering with board games, hanging out, and some food at the Menomonie campus starting at 6:30pm. Contact Daniel with any questions and to RSVP.
  • Bring payment for t-shirts ($16 each) if you ordered them, 1 check per group, made out to Wisconsin District NYI.
  • As announced at the October quiz, we will have an award for those who can quote all of 1 Corinthians 13.
    • Only quizzers can participate at this quiz. If we have awards left, adults can also participate starting in January, but priority goes to quizzers each month.
    • It must be quoted to Stephen (or another adult Stephen designates) at the quiz.
    • It must be quoted within 1 minute 45 seconds.
    • It does not have to be word-for-word, but any word differences must not change the meaning. For example, "If I speak in the tongues of men or angels" would be acceptable in place of "If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels".
    • You do not have to know the verse numbers.
    • If you say something wrong, you can correct yourself.
    • The award is a custom-made bracelet from a company that provides safe, sustainable employment for women in need in the Dominican Republic.
  • Let Stephen know if you have a quizzer or adult who would be willing to share how God has been using the quizzing material in their life.
  • Lunch is wood-fired pizza at the church for a freewill donation.
  • As this is our last quiz before December, we will be selecting the district team to go to St. Louis.
    • We usually take 1 team of 6 people.
    • After the round robin, we do 1-3 rounds of individual quizzing.
    • The district team will be determined by taking a combination of each person's score from the preliminary rounds and his/her total from the individual rounds.
  • Plan to attend Winter Retreat (January 30 - February 1).
  • Start thinking about the Indiana Classic (February 20-21, 1 Corinthians 1 - 2 Corinthians 9).
